Am I the only person who noticed that none of the news items about Clear Channel having donated $1 billion to charities in 2005 mentioned that CC just laid off several Boston employees? Based on what they've given to charity, it seems like they would have had no problem paying those salaries, no?When I was a kid, my dad always told me "charity starts at home." I guess that's not the way the Mays family was raised.
