Cledus out in Hotlanta

A wile back someone told me that Cledus T. Judd was close to signing on at WKDF but was talked out of it by Gerry House. Anyone know anything? Will kdf take another run at him?

I don't know what kind of numbers he pulled down south, but I don't think anyone in Nashville is going to pay him what he needs to make it worth his while. And I don't think Chitadel has the brains to scoop him up even if he had good numbers. Look what they did to Jeff Lyon.

If Gerry House talked him out of taking the job at KDF, what would be the motive? Gerry didn't want competition? "Cle, you can't take that job. They'll pay you what CC is paying me!" We all know THAT'S not going to happen. :D ;D :D

Brent,
You have to remember that Atlanta is the seventh largest market. They do not need redneck radio.

Check it out. Houston is a market just above Hotlanta, and Dallas is a notch above Houston. There's a song that says 'if you're gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band.'
Size doesn't always matter. Both cities have symphonies, art, the who nine yards, but sure do like their country....redneck or otherwise.
