Cledus & the "T" Party's first week

The first couple days were rough with equipment technical problems on the air and such, which they acknowledged at the end of today's show (thanked the engineers).
All in all I would have to say that for not ever working together, I think there seems to be a chemistry, that will only get better with time. As Art "Madman" Mehring said, it's finally good to be live and be part of a real FM morning show again.
I like having the news and entertainment segments with Jamie. (brilliant hire). If you even go back to the Lite/Peach days, after they dumped Kari Dean they started using taped new bits from WGST, so It's nice having it done live, same goes with traffic.
As for Cledus himself, have to admit I didn't know what to expect, since I only know of him through his parody music. I have to say I enjoy most of his humor, and like his sense of community and family. I really wish for good things for the show.

I agree, I like the show too! And... I saw perceptuals when Art was with Z93 and his numbers were HUGE. Apparently listeners like him yet he's never been utilized on the air at any of CC stations until Cledus. The guy has a great sense of humor and some epic stories from his younger days that would make for great radio. Props to Cledus or whomever made the call to air Art live.

I've been enjoying the show and think it has a lot of potential. What an improvement over what was there.

I realize Paul is needed at this point, but if Cledus is ever up to it, I feel the show would be better with just Cledus and Jamie, Slam in the background and Art doing traffic of course. Cledus is probably capable of keeping things going with Jamie's assistance.

I only caught a few minutes here & there but of what I heard it's easily the best new show to hit town in quite a while.

Okay, granted, that's not saying a lot but still ...

I'm not a huge country fan but I've sampled the show this week. Cledus is actually pretty damn funny and Massey is a real talent.

It's better than the other morning offerings....at least so far.
I still say they should "put some Taylor in your trailer and a Little John too" We'd bring some trailer trash to the tea party......

I have said this for awhile about how Jamie should have replaced Leslie. Now inh the course of 8 days they lost both. Great foresight.

I've sampled them as well. Not bad at all - once they get all the kinks worked out, I think they'll make their mark.

They get yet another week before I sample... then I know they know which knob does what.
Incidentally, I did finally sample Giant Brian. I guess I'm outa the demo. He picks.
