Cletus Show

I've never listen to any of the country morning shows in Atlanta. And after seeing the billboard of Cletus/Cledus I definitely know I won't be tuning in. The first few times I saw the ad I was wondering if that guy was a musician, a comedian, or was it a joke. He looks like Corky St. Clair from "Waiting For Guffman".

ha ha ha!

Interesting that if had been a C.C. station who dismantled their station as Kicks did, you all would be ripping them a new one. But since it's Not C.C. oh well, they did what they had to do. Hmmmm.

Jimbo the difference is that even with the wholesale changes that kicks made they still beat the bull hands down. In fact in the last monthly even true oldies beat em in most demos. The Atlanta CC properties are poison. I hear the sales manager of GST walked out just last week, it's a bad place to work and as a result they do bad radio.

I think that the Bull will be a bunch of Bull by the end of the year. We need a southern rock station, nothing but southern Rock

and what would they play in the second hour?

That was Lynyrd Skynyrd with Sweet Home Alabama, Molly Hatchet's Gator Country, and .38 special with So Caught up in You. In our next southern rock block we have Flirtin' with Disaster from Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Needle and the Spoon and Georgia's own Allman Brothers with Blue Sky. Some time after 3:00 we will be giving away tickets to our big Southern Rock Party at Atlanta Speedway with Lynyrd Skynyd,The Marshall Tucker Band and the Charle Daniels Band. Coming up tomorrow morning on The Rock of the South, 94.9, Moby interviews the organizer of the Redneck Games in south Georgia and another chance to win Southern rock Party tickets.

Don't forget the Southern Rock "Album Block" and the Southern Classic Doubleplay... "songs so sweet, we gotta play em twice." Big weekend promotion... "Southern Rock Top Ten" followed by "The Other Ten (except we may come up a couple short)"
