Cleveland Cinematheque Premiering new doc about 107.9 The End!

This seems interesting.
So nobody comments on THIS, but when it comes to piddly AM stations in BFE, everyone becomes an f'ing historian.

Regarding the movie: I don't understand why some of the people are even in this..or who some even are.

The people in this are Maria Farina, Pat The Producer, Jim Benson, Vic Gideon, Rocco, and Sue Cendes

We have Vinnie Dombrowski of Sponge and Reel Big Fish in it to tell the muscians perspective of the time period

THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNEW IT

USA, 2008, Mike Wendt

107.9 FM – The End was a bastion of alternative radio in Cleveland during most of the 1990s. But in 1999 the station was bought by Radio One and abruptly changed formats. Many longtime employees were fired. In this new documentary, local filmmaker Mike Wendt pays tribute to The End by interviewing some of the disc jockeys and staff members responsible for the station’s progressive programming that introduced The Cranberries, the Barenaked Ladies, and others to American ears. Features Rick “Rocco” Bennett, Maria Farina, Brian and Joe, and Reel Big Fish, among many others. Mike Wendt will answer audience questions after the screening. World Premiere! Beta SP. 58 min.
