As followers of the Cleveland side noticed, tcsnrayp thinks Cleveland radio is dead because of the lack of new news coming out. So how about doing something the Columbus thread did for fun until we get some news. Name some Cleveland DJ's that you fondly remember.
Like for instance when "Big" Jack Armstrong was on WKYC and started mentioning cars he was seeing out his studio window which later turned into a huge traffic jam in downtown Cleveland.
And let's not stop with just the 1960's. If someone you liked was on before Alan Freed or after Slatts, come join the fun and tell us who you remembered the most.

Uncle Vic used to have people pulling up to the front window on 15th & Chester to see him in the "goldfish bowl" window on Sunday nights...I remember him even talking about an EMS unit sitting outside the station around springtime with 'GCL going in the ambulance. Those were the days of GOOD radio.

Hey guys, glad to see someone started a site for the ole G 98. I rember listening to them guys as a teen, driving around Medina where Im from in my old 1973 mercury. I had a lot of freinds from around Olmstead Falls and Berea and we used to cruise up to see if we could get a glimps of ncle Vic. Good job all. Good memories. Good times...

Speaking of WGCL...I think they had a great line up when it featured the names of Bob Gott, Jim King, Dennis Day, Bob Travis, Dave Collins, Joe Bohannon, Caroline, Dave Matthews, Rick Cramer, Wolfman Jack, Casey Kasem, Tom Kent, The Birdman, Jeff Gerber, Phil Gardner, and even earlier WGCL line-up included W.D. Sanford, J.R. Nelson, Chris Bailey and newsman Gregg Anthony-auhhhhh, those were the days- "The Giant-G98"

Let's not forget Dancin' Danny Wright, a true good guy and a cyber buddy to all us C-town posters.
