Cleveland loses Donovan

The voice of the Browns.......... for over 25 years has lost his battle with cancer. He was 68 years young and was a broadcaster who had lots of skill and knew how to keep fans informed of the game! He was 68 and will be missed by many!

Wow. So many Browns announcers have been taken away early due to cancer - Jim Graner, Nev Chandler, Casey Coleman and now Jimmy Donovan.

Jim's energetic and positive delivery is why I enjoyed having the games on in the background even when I had no interest in the game. Both Jim and Tom Hamilton's broadcasts have been the best background sound on the days and nights I am homesick for Northeast Ohio.
