Cleveland TV Changes into 2012

I know this is another TV topic (sorry John Baylor :)), but I couldn't help but point out that WKYC, WEWS and WJW has been or are making changes in both the morning and evening daypart. This seems to be a lot since a few years back when those three and WOIO changed all their morning newscasts at the same time. Here's a quick rundown:

WKYC - Romona Robinson left and will be replaced by Russ Mitchell from CBS in New York and a co-anchor to be named soon. The 7PM team and the weather and sports slots will remain unchanged. Erin Kennedy from Providence will join Mark Nolan at the anchor desk on mornings, marking the first time there's two anchors in that slot since Abby Ham left in 2009. Plus, Robin Swoboda joined the team to co-anchor with Chris Tye on the 7PM newscast back in March of this year.

WEWS - Chris Flanagan from Dallas has now technically (and finally) replaced Ted Henry, whose chair has been empty for over two years, and joined Danita Harris at the desk on the 11PM newscast. A big overhaul on the morning news involved the departures of Pete Kenworthy, Kimberly Gill and Patty Harken. They've now been replaced by Mike Dunston from Orlando, Macie Jepson from Dallas (who used to be at WJW in the mid-late '90s) and Alicia Roberts from Tampa respectively.

WJW - Stacey Bell left and has now been replaced by Tracy McCool from mornings. Kristi Capel is rumored to be taking Tracy's spot on the AM with Patty Harken (from WEWS) rumored to be taking over on traffic. Also, the station brought back their weekend morning newscasts after a few years off.

WOIO/WUAB - No changes at all, except that Danielle Serino is filling-in for Sharon Reed. If the changes at the other three stations keep WOIO from succeeding, then changes are going to have to be made. WUAB added a 7AM weekday newscast and resurrected their "Block" nickname.
