Clif Caldwell, ktvt weekend news anchor, always sounds like he has a respiratory ailment. Does anyone know if the gentleman is actually ill?

The same could be said of David Finfrock....although David's obvious ailment often affects his voice to the point of him choking up and coughing on air....it's VERY annoying. Any idea what David's suffering from?
