My bud Bill and I have been talking about this station lately. he and I went out to the Livermore site to listen on my GE Superadio, and it sounds sweet. I may not remember most of that music, but it sounds sweet all right. My Buick's AC Delco radio sounds good, but the rear speakers are all rattly sounding bcause of the stuff the guy sprayed in it to kill the ants. The front ones are okay, but they don't sound so good as the Superadio does. There aren't a lot of roads around there so you can only drive around the tower site just so much, but we found that if we parked in the weeds to the Northeast of the sticks on CA1151 you get a better fidelity. Do they beam better sound in that diection on purpose? Are there wealthier people to the northwest? or is it some electrical reason?
Well anyway I am collecting all of the newspaper articles that have been written and putting them into a Nifty Magnetic binder.. There was a neat article in the ContraCosta paper about KTRB AM 860..the HEAVY 860. OMG that is so fine! Also I have minidisc of the radio, and I will put them on a CD and sell them to KTRB during the big anniversary show that they have in 10 years.
You have got to believe that something really really great is getting cooked up in that station. Can you imagine the amazing things that are being decided on, and bought? Cart machines, and new recorders, and computers. Wow it must be amazing.

thank you
