Once again, Kicks was all over the place with the TV ads during the CMA's, while the Bull was no where to be found, at least what I saw. I know they had a presence there, Slam Duncan broadcasting his afternoon show live from Nashville, with nice interviews and such, and they also broadcast the awards live, but if they're are to go anywhere, they need to start promoting not only the station, but the fact that Kristen Gates is there. She is a heck of a personality and they should promote the fact that she's a part of the morning show, and what better place to do it than the CMA's.
 
An interesting thing about Kicks and the CMA's: The CMA voice guy is the same guy who images Kicks. His name is something like John Wilyard (someone correct me). I was told he pitches country stations by telling them he's the voice of the CMA's.

Having worked with the guy for years, I would say it's more the other way around. I don't know that he has to "pitch" anyone these days... he's on more stations than static. And I'm sure plenty of stations have sought him out after hearing him on the CMAs.

Also, one of the classiest individuals you will ever encounter in this biz.
