Cute. Well, BJ & crew, pretty pathetic that you are so desperate for listeners that you resort to coaxing Radio-Info.com folks to listen to you. Certainly doesn't seem like your hours-long rant would have much appeal to the general audience. <YAWN>

A) I don't listen to BJ Shea.

B) While other talk shows are talking about the hurricane, Cindy Sheehan and gas prices, BJ Shea is talking about this board. Do you really think the average talk show listener cares about this board?

C) If it makes Shea feel good to choke his own chicken with 10 people on this board, I say let him. "Mobilizing" the dozen or so few fans reminds me of the old "Pat Pack," and we know where Pat Cashman is right now.

Keep it up BJ...the last laugh will likely come from Arbitron.

I'm not a Fan of the Buzz, but.... anyone with negative things to say about BJ has obvioulsy not looked at a ratings book recently. It's great that you all hate him so much, but... he's been #1 in his slot for the past several books. You can't really argue with that, but you can continue to hope that someone on your station could get those kind of numbers... I know I am!
 
I doubt you've ever seen the ratings.

Tell me, exactly what share did he get in his time slot for his target demo (the only demo he gets number one in). In the money demo, persons 25-54, what did he get as well?

Or are you just listening to him say his ratings are number one?

You know I'm unsure of what stations he is competing against for the demos he says he's #1 in but he is really in a time slot filled with a bunch of liner readers that play primarily music. So for someone in the mood for talk, his show is really the only choice in that slot.

Yes, their prediction were wrong...again. I love BJ's show, but the dumbest thing he can do is to get pissed off about an internet forum. I mean, it's the internet for god's sake! INTERNET: SERIOUS BUSINESS!

Maybe it's time for Infinity or one of the other competing companies to forget about the country format for awhile and try to take on The Buzz. Couldn't hurt.
Oh wait, KYCW-AM attempted that a few years ago. Too bad there wasn't any promotion for that station. I stumbled across it by accident the night before 9=11. I think it might be time to try it again. The FCC not withstanding. BTW, I'm a longtime Buzz listener(ten years and running).<P ID="signature">______________

BJ is #1 M25-54. Go look it up. Thats what the Buzz targets. What more do you need?
