CNN AC 360 at new time

So they are into the 2nd week of Anderson Cooper in the 8pm eastern slot competing against O'Reilly. So far the ratings remain weak. However, I see this show gaining. Anderson could be the guy that can find a nice position between Bill and Lawrence at MSNBC.

I noted tonight they allowed a total crack-up by Anderson to air not once, but in the repeat as well, when he did the ridic-u-list on the french star urinating on a plane. This was entertaining, and probably left in to show that Anderson can be funny as well as serious. This is where we are at today.

However, CNN has failed again and again as being the in-between show between Fox and MSNBC. Will this be any different? Time will tell.

It's not AC360 that's failing, it's the 8PM CNN timeslot. AC360 does well at 10PM and CNN knows that, they're just filling the timeslot with a show that has more recognition with public than In The Arena, plus Anderson's earlier shooting time will allow him to focus on his daytime talk show arriving in syndication this fall.
