CNN Citizen Journalist On Patrol!!

I can see it now... some half wit with a made up ID card thinking he is journalist... hiding in the bushes taking pictures of your private life in the name of being a citizen journalist.

I think calling viewers "citizen journalist" is cheezy. This reminds me of the Sheriff's reserve posse in my home town. This reserve "posse".. and yes, that is what they are really called.. basically, is made of up people who whant to play police. I find that can be dangerous. I consider asking people to play journalist to be in the same category.

Maybe I am being too harsh. The term citizen journalist just struck a nerve.

.... wait... someone is running a traffic light... if I can take a picture I can play police and journalist at the same time! ;-)
