The New York Post is reporting that the network has their sights set on someone who might be deemed the "leading candidate" to co-host opposite Eliot Spitzer on a possible new "Crossfire" series.
Her name is Kathleen Parker. She's a nationally syndicated columnist, who has appeared on "Face The Nation" as well as some CNN programs. Sources close to the network believe that she will be the "right" to Spitzer's "left" on the new show.
