CNN the once trusted name in News struggles to fight in the ratings war after 30 years. I remember at one time CNN had higher approval ratings than BBC for International news. Now If this survey was done in 2013 Al-Jazeera, BBC will have a bigger influence in some areas in terms of investigative and international stories. In the USA itself that would be Propublica, Centers for Investigative reporting PBS, NPR and BBC Getting higher approval ratings in terms of investigative and international stories. The Problem here is that in the USA its been viewed as a Ron Burgundy Network ever since Jon Stewart used certain clips of Ex-CNN Talent Rick Sanchez on the air. Also CNN was accused of not being a propagandist to political Superpacs and Lobbyists like Fox News Channel and MSNBC did.
