CNN Shoots Down Anderson Cooper To CBS Rumor

As you know, Anderson Cooper is a contributor to CBS' "60 Minutes." The possibility of him leaving CNN and joining CBS full-time was mentioned in the "CNN Has 25,000 Viewers?" thread.

But with this latest development, the topic is worthy of its own thread:

“Reports that Cooper has recently met with CBS News re: an anchor position are false. He is not engaged in any additional conversations with them beyond those necessary for his continuing role on ‘60 Minutes,'" Cooper’s publicist said in an e-mailed statement...
