CNN's Blitzer, Cooper Head to Middle East

http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/490470-CNN_s_Blitzer_Cooper_Head_to_Middle_East.php

Duo will report on Israel-Gaza conflict

I'm not sure if anybody would watch CNN for War Coverage today? I know in 1991 during Iraq War I Bernard Shaw reported the war there and everybody respected CNN back then. I know back then CNN was more guided to cover the National news and International issues more with the USA Today Leaning. I know back then CNN Headline news with Chuck Roberts (Current WYAY-FM reporter) had formatted their 30 minute news cycle more like 1010 WINS-AM, and 980 Old KFWB, and Current WNEW-FM DC.
HLN back in 1991 ran with the Group W all-news "You Give Us 22 Minutes, We Give you the World mantra" format and put it on National Cable TV with the USA Today Lean.

I have watched CNN for war coverage in the past, and would do so again, and I'm sure many other people would too. This is what they excel at.

"If we can just get ourselves booked into a hotel with bombs falling on our head
so we can do a live remote, it would really put CNN on the map!" :D
