CNN's "Planet In Peril" In Peril

The graphic promoting it is gone (although the green CNN logo remains). Looks like the wildfires in California will delay its debut.

UPDATE: Got my days mixed up. Apparently Part 1 did air. But if things get worse in California get worse, Part 2 might be delayed.

I absolutely detest programs like this. The title alone loses all journalistic integrity. CNN should be ashamed of itself. Get back to doing just news, not all this opinion crap like Fox.

I flipped by it last night for about ten minutes and I only saw CNN's roving "medical correspondent" Dr. Gupta in China where (mods, do not edit, this was the actual content of the program) he was at a store that sold petrified bull penis, and then went to a restaurant whose menu highlighted deer penis.

And they thought "NYPD Blue" in its day was graphic.

This is more proof that CNN is absolute rubbish, along with all other US cable "news" channels.

Personally, the bull and deer privates story is more "Ripley's Believe It or Not" than "news you can use". If I want to eat bull or deer, I'd eat hamburger or venison (respectively), and, considering the nature of that story, I'll just stop right there.

CNN should just simply produce it for Discovery or National Geographic and be done with it IMO.

Cheers :D

CNN stopped doing news years ago.
Probably about the time that they lost the market lead to FOX News.
