CNN's Tony Harris

Tony Harris of CNN is the worst anchor I have ever seen on cable news. This guy plays off the "******bag" image he's got going for him. I've never seen somebody on cable news who was more obsessed with their own voice. And Tony if you look away from the camera one more time I'm going to puke!! Only Stone Phillips looks cool doing the cutaway glance!! You just look like a clown!

Sorry, had to rant a little bit :)

I actually like Tony Harris because he's so different from the other anchors. He's not stuffy and trying to be serious all the time like someone such as Kyra Philips. And he's able to lighten up people during his interviews by playing the antagonizer. Always fun to watch.

Al Jazeera hired him - wow. Didn't see that coming. I think whitfm's statement is a little strong - I wouldn't have gone for '******bag image,' but I've never cared for him either.

I know he was the morning anchor, and they're expected to be lighter and more conversational - but for me, most of Harris's banter was cringe-worthy. If you're going to be one of those casual, off-the-cuff remark kind of anchors, you damn well better be good at it, or don't even try. Harris is not a natural wit, so his 'witty' remarks come off as forced, and seem to reveal a lack of knowledge about the stories he's reporting on.

Wait one second I thought Rick Sanchez, Lou Dobbs, Wolf Blitzer and Jack Cafferty were the ******bags at CNN that were targets Jon Stewart commentary. I miss Bernard Shaw He really represent the good anchors at CNN.
