Coast 93.3 seeking gay audience

Saturday nights from 10pm to Midnight, 93.3 Coast FM brings you Radio with a Twist! Twist is the first national gay, commercial radio brand with features like Something You Don’t Know (Gay/Lesbian news headlines), Long Distance Dedications and the Coming Out Party: A song from a new gay/lesbian artist is featured. Dennis Hensley, Will Wikle and Melissa Carter are the unpredictable and always hilarious cast, and the heart of Twist Every Saturday on Coast 93.3! (From their website)

Plus, they have the "hunk of the day" on the website, too.

Good for them on targeting an often neglected demographic?

That's what I was thinking. The 12-inch Retromix show that they're airing on Saturday nights before Radio with a Twist is also pretty unique. Definitely a fresh change of pace for a station that sticks us with Delilah on weeknights. :(

YES YES I AGREE... Is RAUL PAUL going to be on??
Will there be 'local' like Mario Halario, R,J. Hiem, Mayor David Cicilline, The Gay Mafia??

Now I can listen to something other than WSAR in the AFTERNOON!! HOORAY!! :-* Fruitie. :-*

RUPaul , Culture Club and Elton John Format . Time 4 me 2 change the CHANNEL .

This is the only time I'll ever be able to say " sounds pretty gay to me " without being offensive!

Radio With A Twist isn't a Chubby Checker oldies show? I'd better cancel out on that Saturday night limbo party I was invited to.

I still really miss "Totally 80's Saturday Night" with Gary Trust (and before him Jack Lawrence). Does anyone know what Gary's up to now?
