COAST 93.3?

Whats up with COAST? Did they change formats? I'm hearing R&B music coming in.

-Rob

no...no format change...god you guys are gossipy...tower fixing in progress

Jacksonville reception is extremely rare here. It's more likely Q93 from New Orleans. It was an easy catch before coast 93.3 came along.

you know what you could have been hearing...the new 93.3 The Beat in Jacksonville....if the weather was right that is prob what you heard

isn't 93.3 country (or is that Quincy?)
I didn't hear IDs as I was enjoying 93.5 playing classic rock. Today, the sig is stronger but still not full strength.

Is Coast going to be doing HD radio or just working on their tower?

who 'owns' 93.3 now????
Good question. Obviously Cumulus is running it, but with the whole 98.1 mess, did they actually acquire it from Hale or are they just operating it under a LMA?
Did Hale (or Cumulus) ever find the old owner in Evergreen a replacement station (I remember seeing that requirement in the purchase agreement filed with the FCC)? Does the old Evergreen owner still have a claim to 93.3?

WGWD 93.3 Gretna (Quincy-Tallahassee) is country, classic country to be exact. They have a great station but it never comes in over here. Most Tallahassee stations have a very rough time with reception west of the Apalachicola River. You have a better chance of hearing 93.3 from Jacksonville than Tallahassee. Any urban you hear around here on 93.3 is WQUE from New Orleans.

Been reading and nothing about any FWB stations going HD.

Enlighten me if I missed a thread.

The staff and format of the former Evergreen-based WPGG 93.3 eventually moved to WTID 101.1, a class A stick licensed to Repton, AL. I don't know/believe they operate under the same owners, but they still brand themselves as "Power Pig" country and air Auburn Tigers sports.

I might have known that.... I forget things some times.
According to radio-info, Star Broadcasting owns WPGG AM, but not WTID FM. I thought that the old owner of WPGG FM was going to keep the AM and get a new FM along with some cash for the 93.3 signal. Guess things changed.

Does the new Pig have a website? Can't find one through Google.

Gee ask a simple question and get ------- on.

Forgot you can't ask questions in here.

I'll leave now.
