A close friend to Apex Broadcasting was telling me about how a classic country library from Broadcast Programming was ordered and new older voice guy - The name he told me was Country Legends 92.5. I understand there's been all kinds of rumors including that they would turn into an Urban to try to corner the urban market with their top rated urban ac - but it looks like their grabbing their cowboy hat and boots.

Billy Surf is out and Uncle Miles was also let go. Sounds like throwing out the baby with the bathwater to me. Other rumors were that they would go top 40. I can't see why they would get rid of a ex top 40 PD like Billy if that was where they were headed. My guess is that they stay AC and continue to be a waste of a signal. CC would be smart to put Miles on the Drive. The cowboy hat idea is actually a really good one.
 
Judging by the website going to a webpage, I'd say a flip is coming.

Who knew the world wide web would be such an indicator...
 
I saw today where they have changed their call letters to WIBH. I am sure that we will hear something new from them soon.

I looked up 'WIBH' and found this. WIBH 1440 AM is a locally-owned, 500 watt stand-alone station serving Southwestern Illinois.
