Well it was time for the monthly listen to Coast mornings to see if they found a cohost who lives,eats,and breathes pop culture.They apparently didn't.Interesting concept though.Take a morning show and make it sound like an afternoon show.The last time Providence had a one person morning show that was too heavily formatted for its time slot was Mike Osborne on Z100.How hard is it to find a female cohost who can talk about what was on TV last night?
 
Erica Kay needs a gig. She would be perfect! But the hard heads at Coast are probably to cheap to hire her..... or any other co-host for that matter.
 
i just find it hard to believe that this station when from a show like joans & joan to this....... somone must be kickin themselves in the shues now
 
I doubt anyone is kicking himself. The show is not a contender but it's cheaper to run it this way. No one does one man morning shows anymore. Frankly it's not the fault of the one man doing it either but the show sounds temporary to me like someone is biding his time. What's gonna happen when and if they hire a co host? Are people gonna leave Giovanni and Kim or Jones and Heather? I think not. People are set in their ways when it comes to morning drive.

I doubt that's the sound they would be looking for.If someone is hired it will be a female.

Not now, but don't be surprised to see it become more commonplace in the future. That co-host is just another needless salary in the eyes of the know nothing upper management types.
 
I literally just laughed out loud. Is that all you expect to get from a female or think that's all a female co host does? Recap TV from the night before? Sad. With all of the lay offs happening as we speak, let's give TALENT a little more credit.
