Coast to Coast AM on multiple New Hampshire stations.

WKBK-AM (1290 AM) Keene, NH Su 9PM - 1AM, Mo - Sa 1AM - 6AM
WGIR-AM (610 AM) Manchester, NH Mo - Sa 1AM - 6AM, Sa 9PM - 1AM
WQSO-FM (96.7 FM) Portsmouth, NH Mo - Sa 1AM - 6AM, Sa 9PM - 1AM

Why not just have this show one the one AM station WGIR would probably cover the whole state since its not that big.

It barely covers the Manchester market. The red curve is the interference free night signal.

New Hampshire is about 200 miles long. Only WHOM (FM) on Mount Washington covers it top to bottom, and you're talking deep fringe when you go south of Manchester.

Based on a previous posted on the Denver board, you live there.. so why do you care about what happens in NH and comment on something you clearly know nothing about?

DXers don't sometimes get that everyone else isn't one. We lost Coast to Coast in our market for a few months before a translator picked it up. No, fans of the show expressly did not want to try to listen to it on a distant AM station, they wanted an interference free local (preferable FM) signal. No one in management thinks "my listeners can hear Coast to Coast from Des Moines, I'll run something else."

They could just listen to it from an online stream instead of an AM radio.

Not if they're driving! And I know that technically they could stream it on their cell phone and push the audio thru their car's entertainment system, but that's awkward at best and not something I would recommend.

The last two stations are iHeart stations (WGIR and WQSO-FM), and this is an iHeart show, so they are carrying it on their owned stations. That's what they tend to do.

In addition, these are each separate ratings markets: Portsmouth is the largest of the three markets at #122, then Manchester #201, and Keene is unrated.

WGIR-AM (610) has a daytime power of 5000 watts (directional roughly northwest/southeast).....
Their nighttime power is 1000 watts, with a tightened pattern, with a null to the south -- protecting WIP in Philadelphia......
I'm approximately 17 miles north of their transmitter....and I can barely hear their signal at night -- despite the use of a 50' longwire antenna on my tuner!!
Not a likely candidate to cover ALL of NH......

Are you in Concord? If so, Radio-Locator's Predicted Nighttime Coverage Area is quite inaccurate.
