Colin Cowherd Compares Himself To The Beatles

I shared this link on the Houston radio board, being it focuses mostly on his station there leading the pack in local sports radio. But I figured some of the folks on this board would get a kick out of a few of the Cowherd quotes in the article:
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/barron/7151688.html

At one point, Cowherd comments on his vocal style influencing other sports radio hosts:

“It’s hard not to be influenced. Isn’t every singer influenced? The Beatles were influenced by people. If I can be an influence, great, but I can’t get caught up in it.”

(In the previous paragraph, Mr. Cowherd does admit: "I have a lousy voice.")

Also, he appears to be taking a potshot at rival syndicated sports talker Jim Rome, too:

"Broadcasting styles change, too. Eight years ago it was Romey, and maybe, to some degree, young guys now think this style is different."
