Very quietly the collegiate hoopsters are starting their seasons, so here's who is airing what locally.

WKNR ESPN 850 is as usual the Cleveland affiliate for THE Ohio State University, with Paul Keels and former OSU guard Ron Stokes on the call. (BTW Keels is a machine - he called Buckeye football Saturday in New Jersey vs Rutgers, filled in for Jim Donovan calling the Browns game at Browns Stadium on Sunday, and tonight is calling the OSU hoops opener in Columbus)

WARF Fox Sports 1350 The Gambler is the home for the Cleveland State Vikings, with longtime play by play man Al Pawlowski. Since 1350 also has the Monsters, when there's a conflict CSU slides over to WTAM 1100/106.9

The Akron Zips will be heard on flagship WHLO 640 in Akron.
