College football on the radio.

Here's your 2012 lineup for college football on local radio:

Of course the big dog in these parts is OSU, heard on WKNR 850, flanked to the west by WEOL 930 in Lorain County, to the east by WABQ 1460 in Lake County, and to the south by WAKR 1590 in Akron.

The MAC is well represented--

The Akron Zips are on flagship WARF 1350 in Akron, and WHK 1420.
Kent State is on longtime flagship WNIR 100.1 in Akron.
Bowling Green is on WHKW 1220.
And the Toledo Rockets are on WJMO 1300.

Notre Dame will be on WTAM 1100 (if there's no Indians/Cavs conflicts)

And Division II Notre Dame College will be on WWGK 1540 (when they play at night, the game will be on their website).

Kent State dumped WNIR and moved to 640 WHLO.

Mr. Keith Kennedy, I presume...an honor, sir.

I was unaware of that...The Flashes and WNIR have been synonymous forever.

I stand corrected. Looks like CC Akron-Canton has both sides of the rivalry under one roof now.

A couple additions to your list:

All BW football games will be on air and on line at WBWC, and John Carroll games should be on 88.7 FM.

I should that Malone University Pioneers Football games will be heard on WNPQ-FM 95.9 in Canton. Makes sense since both are Christian-based organizations.

Let me updaye the list due to some new info coming in:

Division I:
OSU--WKNR 850, WEOL 930 in Lorain County, WABQ 1460 in Lake County, WAKR 1590 in Akron.
Akron--flagship WARF 1350 in Akron, and WHK 1420.
Kent State--new flagship WHLO 640 in Akron.
Bowling Green--WHKW 1220.
Toledo--WJMO 1300.
Notre Dame--WTAM 1100 (night games only if there's no Indians/Cavs conflicts)

Division II:
Notre Dame College--WWGK 1540 (when they play at night, the game will be on their website).
Baldwin Wallace--WBWC 88.3
John Carroll--WJCU 88.7
Malone university--WNPQ 95.9 Canton

And I may as well throw in high school:
St. Ignatius--WHK 1220/WHK 1420
WKNR has their "High School Hysteria" game of the week
WEOL has Lorain/Medina Counties covered
WARF has Akron covered

Is WABQ still doing Lake County games?

And let's not forget Wayne County high school football and the College of Wooster, among other things on WQKT/WKVX, Wooster.

And let me say that it's an honor to be able to post here with true pros!

OSU is also heard on WHBC/1480 in Canton and WJER/1450 in New Philadelphia. In Division III action, WDPN/1310 in Alliance continues to carry Mount Union.

Does'nt Joe just do the occasional TV games? I wouldnt think he'd want to take opportunites from student broadcasters..

Tim, I stand corrected.
