College radio event at the Grog Shop

On Tuesday, April 2nd, the Grog Shop (2785 Euclid Heights Boulevard) will show the film "35,000 Watts". It's the story of College radio, as seen, primarily, through the eyes of bands who received support from College radio. Members from Akron's DEVO, along with Let's Active, The Pixies, and more will be featured. Doors open at 7:00pm with the film set to be screened at 7:30pm. After the film, there will be a panel discussion about Cleveland area College radio stations (WBWC, WCSB, WJCU, WRUW). Tickets are available for $10 each, online @ grogshop.gs, and can also be picked up at the venue. Proceeds from this event will be shared with Cleveland area College radio stations based on which stations are named by patrons. There is room for about 200 people.
