College Radio rebirth?

The problem that wasn't addressed in the article is the number of colleges that have shut down their stations and turned in the licenses. Often without informing the students. We've had multiple threads here in the last month of student stations at Salem State University, Park State in Missouri, and a few others.

Personally I think the student interest has always been there. But it's usually a small group. The university weighs the number of students against the high cost, and turns in the license.
