Colors of The Rainbow

How many songs can you think of with a color or colors in their title and/or the lyrics, and/or the artists' names?

Examples:

My Blue Heaven - Fats Domino
Yellow Balloon - Yellow Balloon (okay, it goes without saying this is a fav of mine)

The Song, "She's A Rainbow", by The Rolling Stones, does not contain a color in the title, but the lyrics are loaded with color. "Have you seen her dressed in blue? See the sky in front of you...."

Jeez, too many to count...

Red Rubber Ball--Cyrkle
White Lies Blue Eyes--Bullet
Purple Haze--Hendrix

Green Eyed Lady--Sugarloaf

White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane
Blue Christmas - Elvis
Little Red Corvette - Prince
Blue on Blue - Bobby Vinton
Blue Moon - Marcels
Red Rubber Ball - Cyrkle

No songs beginning with the word Orange, made the Top 40.

at #61 in 1963, Orange Blossom Special - Billy Vaughn
at #80 in 1965, Orange Blossom Special - Johnny Cash

Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White - Perez Prado

Any song in the Top 40 with the color orange in the title? If so, let me know....

Orange Crush - R.E.M.

If Tangerine counts, "Hello Hello", by Sopwith Camel contains tangerine in the lyrics; Tangerine is the title of a Led Zepplin song, which also contains tangerine in the lyrics - as well as grey.

Love is Blue by Paul Muriat (sp?).

Did this song make the Top 40? If so, what number and when...?

It did not make the Top 40 or the 100, it's listed as a CLS from 1988 in "Top Pop Singles".

Songs categorized as CLS, are classics by artists that did not chart on the Hot 100.

Actually, I think Iowan was asking the question, but as happens from time to time his question wound up in a quotations box.

But thanks for the info anyway.

Yellow Submarine - The Beatles

Well there was Jelly Jungle of Orange Marmalade - Lemonpipers (#51 in 1968)
Didn't make the top 40, but this one got closer than the other 2.

The Lemon Pipers had "Green Tambourine," but since it was green, shouldn't their name have been the Lime Pipers? ;D

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - Brian Hyland
