Colts/Pats game won't be shown in Houston

Nor it won't in The NoCAL area. (SF/SJ/OAK) The game of the week will be televised everywhere in America, But you'll have to get The Sunday Ticket to watch it.

The big game will be that night at Robertson, 7p!

Wanna see an exciting team, come support your local Houston Cougars.

The Cogs! Not the Cogs! That's not the big game. They are playing SMU, Not a good match up. The big game will be Pats-Colts. What are you smoking?

Well...

As a fan of the Coogs since the early 80's & a season ticket holder I find them alot more entertaining than the Texans have ever been. I too wish we could see the Pats/Colts game but regardless I'll be supporting the home team Sunday night.

Well apparently, Robertson is also home to Houston's OTHER Football team... The Dynamo. Luckily The Dynamo are enjoying the best season ever. I believe The MLS is going after the well-sought fanbase. I hope more teams will be added in border towns in the near distant future-Like San Diego & Phoenix.

Not in Beaumont/Port Arthur either

KHOU-11 in Houston and KFDM-6 in Beaumont must carry Texans-Raiders. The NFL considers Beaumont a secondary market for the Texans.

The CBS O&Os in the Bay Area and Sacramento will show Patriots-Colts. So will the CBS affiliates in Fresno and Salinas/Monterey.

I don't understand the point of this thread. Of course the Colts/Pats game won't be on in Houston. Why would folks in Houston not want to see the Texans play? I don't get it.

Face it, Houston is a huge metropolis in which a large portion of the citizens are not from here. Many could care less about the Texans, the Coogs or anything Houston related. Just the way it is.

True,
I'm a Houstonian with a heart and I still rather watch Colts/Pats go at it.

One other thing: The Texans are still a new team, its not like they are the Oilers(whose fan base was decimated there in the mid-90s and they moved of course to TN, but that's another story).

I'm still a big fan of The Texans, but this still happens to be a very young team. They've been in existence for like 5 seasons now and generally speaking, There were more Titan/Oiler fans inside Reliant than the fans of the Texans. On the other hand, We like to see The Titans play Carolina-Is that gonna be on CBS or it's a FOX game?

Update: all California CBS affils now running Pats-Colts. Only three stations with Texans-Raiders: KHOU, KBTX, KFDM. No late game on CBS in Cleveland as the Browns are at home on Fox at that time.

Colossal embarrassment for both the Raiders and Texans, but that's what happens when you stink.

How about KZTV in Corpus, KEN'S-TV in SA, & K-EYE-TV in Austin? Are they gonna show the Texans or The Colts/Pats in Foxboro?

As I said: The only three stations carrying Texans-Raiders are KHOU, KBTX, and KFDM. EVERYONE else is running Pats-Colts, except the Cleveland CBS station, which cannot carry a late game as the Browns are at home on Fox in that time slot, and have exclusivity.

Looks like I'll be going up to Austin, Corpus, SA or down to SRO to Watch The Pats and Colts. Thanks, buddy.

I broke down and bought NFL Sunday Ticket on DIRECTV this week, because I heard this news. What I can't believe is that this isn't the Sunday or Monday Night game?! I'm a Steelers fan, and their game against the Ravens is always a clash of the titans type of performance, I'd still rather watch Colts/Pats in Primetime.

I'm a Texans season ticket holder, and I support them, but this game with the Raiders is going to be a snooze fest. There will be those Texans fans who want to see the hometown heroes, but I bet half of the people, given a choice, would rather watch Colts/Pats. I even hate both those teams, and I still want to watch it.

San Antonio and Austin were scheduled for Patriots-Colts all along. CBS switched Corpus Christi to that game on Tuesday.

Also, Patriots-Colts is being played in Indianapolis.
