COLUMBIA RATINGS ???HEAD SCRATCHERS???

Well....this book would be a good indication of the results of WNOK yanking Johnathon off the air and relying on syndication (Ace &TJ,Seacrest) and V/T'ing more. And so they're up??? This is very dismaying. All I'm looking at is 12+ but still.....that's very disheartening.

Also, I don't normally make disparaging comments but WWNQ's ratings free-fall is of no surprise to me. This is one of the worst stations I've heard in any size market in a while.

Comments?

CHR generally appeals to a core audience that is too young to have have grown up with a hit music station that is anything more than a jukebox.

Dudefan: Yeah, I reluctantly concede that. I just w-i-s-h we could get some ammunition to use against the over-reliance of VT'ing and Syndication but I guess that just ain't gonna' happen.

It just goes to show what an afterthought Fox is. Look at some of the out of market stations showing in the book, and that should tell you something.

Wonder if Bad Dog 93.9 will stick around long enough to make the ratings?

The 92.1 and 94.3 cluster all together is pitiful. One needs to at least try CHR.

Fox has certainly been in a free-fall the last few years. Remember when they were at the top o' the heap or at least near the top o' the heap with big old double digits??

Back in 1988-1994 or so they were at the top of their game and were out in the community and really relevant. That's why it was our target to let the air out of the mangy old dog back in September 1992. Taking Benji off mornings was the beginning of the long, slow slide to the end.

All Access has them. For some reason, the list on radio-info is missing a number of markets.
Thanks. I've been using another link for years but it doesn't work any more. Then I found out about this site. I've known about the boards for three years but I never took advantage of the other features.
