Columbus-Aberdeen Radio Pictures 1979-80

I don't know whether anyone will be interested in these, but I uploaded to flickr 18 pictures of WMBC AM-1400 and WJWF FM-103.1 in Columbus. I worked there in 1978-80.

I also worked at the same time for the co-owned WMPA AM-1240 and WHAY FM-105.5 in Aberdeen, and I uploaded 3 pictures of that station.

That was an improvement! When I was there they still used the Shaffer Strowger switch R-T-R spotter tapes running on modified Ampex 351 transports.....

Now that was electro-mechanical fun times!
