COLUMBUS, OHIO OUTAGE 12/31/2009

Just called Sirius and they where not aware of an outage in the Columbus (downtown) area. They are checking the repeater. My radio is just stating "Aquiring Signal". Checked with others in the area and they have the same issue. Sirius did not have an ETA on fixing the problem. They just estimated 2-3 hours.
 
We had the same issue in Downtown Boston. The terrestrial repeater in Downtown was totally off the air for several days last month. Boston is a concrete jungle. If the terrestrial repeater is down, you'll be lucky if you can find a clear space of sky to get the satellite directly. Otherwise, no dice.
