Does anyone know what has happened to ColumbiaJazzRadio.com? For the past several days I hear nothing but Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer in a continuous loop. I attempted to send an e-mail to [email protected] but it came back undeliverable.
Listened when I read this and they seem to be doing the same old thing which means someone got your message or a random check along the way found the problem you stated. I put together the music, rotations and imaging for ColumbusJazzRadio.Com when it came on the web late last year. It was owned by Rocket Media with two principals running the company. I "donated" the entire music library and put the on-air creative together but then got out in early December because of lack of direction and commitment to the product and project. I believe that the only addition to CJR since then has been automated time checks. From that point on the programming was never updated to my knowledge. The two principals have since split up with one taking a GM's job in a small Ohio market and the other taking over everything else. Most of the people on the FB Fan Page are people I have met along the way and are now listening (where CJR should have gone) at the Harmonic Lounge. The intentions were always good but this had the true interest of the principal who left and not of the one who stayed. If you're looking for a contemporary instrumental/vocal blend like no other and want to hear where CJR should have gone, I invite everyone to join me at the Lounge. I just launched on Father's Day and have some loose ends to clean up but I think you'll like what you hear and if you have a question or suggestion, I'll get back to you promptly. Thanks for stopping by the Harmonic Lounge (www.harmoniclounge.com).
Thanks for the info bill. I gave the Harmonic Lounge a listen. I like the variety. I have added it to the TuneIn Radio app presets on my iPhone and Ipod touch.
