Comcast Adds WHDH, WBZ-HD to Bristol County, MA

It's funny how the Patriots play in Foxborough, Norfolk County, yet one town south in Mansfield, it's Bristol County and the Providence market. Couldn't the Patriots found something closer to Boston to play? Hmmmmm!

Irrelevant. Foxborough is still a suburb of Boston, the stadium is located inside the 495 corridor and it doesn't matter that much. Boston and Providence are only 40 miles apart and had Roger Williams not decided to go rogue, the entire area would be in the Boston DMA (like Worcester). This is a non-starter.

The only thing about it that ever irked me was that the Boston affiliates that I was offered in southern New Hampshire are "home market" - so only 2 games on a doubleheader Sunday when the Pats are on the network with the doubleheader. Meanwhile, viewers in the Providence market had no such limit - they live right near Foxboro and we lived 90 minutes away.
