Broadcasting and Cable.com is reporting (registration may be required) that a judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Comcast against the Baltimore Orioles, claiming that the company's Comcast Sportsnet-Mid Atlantic (which currently carries Baltimore Orioles' cable telecasts) had the right to match any other offer for O's cable rights when the current deal expires after the 2006 season, even though the team is planning to launch their own regional cable sports channel starting with the 2007 season.
