I know in the CC/S-SW-P area, if you subscribe to the service at any level, you can put a lead on your cable ready televsion and receive all the locals and some satellite channels on the analog band for free, which has been going on since day one. In Jersey, Delaware and the PA burbs, if you put a lead on a cable ready television when you subscribe to the service you receive all the analog channels, nothing scrambled. This is another City Democratic controlled deal (via James Kenney), where you are forced to buy a converter to receive all the analog channels, so they can add the tax and the crooks get their cut. On a typical one converter digital service you pay 4.00 in city taxes. Now the problem as of this weekend, Channel 57 and 61 have been taken off the minimal free service without the converter, I think this is illegal, I was under the impression all the locals had to be provided no matter what....or are the South Philly Dems at their devious schemes once again.....comments please....
