Not really shocking to hear because Disney has majority control of Hulu ever since they bought 20th Century Pictures from the Murdochs. Also Comcast and NBC were in the process of boosting their own app Peacock after they announced shutting down NBC Sports Net (The national edition).

NBCU Poised To Pull Key Content From Hulu, Move To Peacock
NBCUniversal is reportedly considering altering its current content-sharing agreement with Hulu to make some of its most "high-profile" programming exclusive to the paid Premium tier of its Peacock streaming service.

As Expected given that NBC is protecting their app Peacock.
Now official given that ABC News has been heavily been promoting that their content would be on Hulu and NBC has been heavily been promoting peacock during the Olympics. Deal starts in the Fall.

This move also makes sense for Comcast, especially given that Comcast subscribers get the middle of the 3 tiers of Peacock programming (Peacock Plus IIRC) free with their cable subscription, at least for now. Some Peacock content can also be accessed through the Comcast On Demand interface, provided those users also subscribe to Comcast internet.
