Comcast VS Click Network

I know that this is the Seattle board but I live in Tacoma and my family is thinking about getting Click Network cable when they begin service in my part of Tacoma probably in a few months. What I would like to know is does anybody have Click Network right now and is it basically better or worse than Comcast?

Huh?

I guess I should explain my post, Comcast Cable is the cable service to which my family currently subscribes to. Click Network is the cable television service that is operated by Tacoma Power which is one of Tacoma's power companies. I live in Lakewood which used to be part of Tacoma but is now a seperate city. For a while Lakewood's only cable service provider was Comcast, but last year Click Network started service in Fircrest and University Place and now they are starting service in Lakewood. Click is planning to start service in the part of Lakewood that I live in probably in a few months, I talked to a couple of Click Network employees a couple of weeks ago and they said that Click would have services available in my part of Lakewood in a few months. Hopefully this clears things up, as for my post I would like to know if anybody has Click Network Cable and are they satisfied with Click's service or do they like Comcast's service better.

Anything is better than Comcast. Just get satellite...half the price and better reception.
I am curious why you're posting this on a radio board though.

I've had Click for several years now so I cant comment on the whether Click is better than Comcast (I think it was still TCI back then). I guess it's up to which selection of channels you prefer. I mainly got Click as soon as it was available because I wanted to support it as a city service being a resident. I only have basic-basic TV service from them. I will say that if you intend to have cable internet, Click offers several different IP's to CHOOSE from rather than Comcasts one choice, itself.
Edited by PSAIRCHECKS on 07/14/05 06:32 AM.

Well, basically my family wants to get Click Network's cable tv service because it seems like Comcast's Cable TV prices are going higher and higher. Plus it's nice to have a choice of cable television service instead of having one service where I live(Lakewood in Pierce County).

I think you will find better service from Click, than Comcast, but the real decision comes down to price & channel selection. Performance is going to be a wash in most cases since they utilize much of the same infrastructure.
