Come on Regular Guys

The regular guys are stooping to an all time low. The show this morning was of the most offensive shows I have ever heard on Atlanta radio. As a female I was truely offended. I hope this does not become the norm on your station. I am still mad.

I didn't catch it this morning. What did they say and/or do that was so offensive?

Grow up and just turn the channel. People are so damn sensitive these days. With all of life's ups and downs you're concerned with DJ's offending you.

David Paul was on their show this morning. I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

David Paul again.

Isn't David Paul a Christian?

I've checked out his website and his Christian beliefs seem to be a little...strange?

But I digress.

If David Paul had anything to do with being gross or unseemly, would he not be compromising his "Christian beliefs" in doing such a thing?

I didn't hear the program in question so I can't say for certain, but it would appear that this man is a confused individual...if he was involved in whatever it was that was grotesque, according to the women who complained.

David Paul started his segment with how women are responsible
for all divorces in America. Then, he stated that only 9% of
all divorces are filed for by men. Then, a stream of callers
(mostly women) were picking on Paul saying that they are happy
in their marraiges. Then Paul said something about you are only
comfortable with your spouse if you do not close the bathroom
door when your other half is around. I quickly turned it off and
listened to XM until the 9am hour new jog. Next time I'm not
going to wait around for the segment to get stale.

I do not know which is worse, Paul or the "state official" guy
that used to call in announcing laws "in the works" - like the
one that women could only drive on certain days of the week.. or
that Atlantans couldn't drink water on 3 days of the week. Then
callers would flood the board thinking he was legit. As soon as I
heard that guys voice (or that his segment was coming after a break)
I was off to XM.

Well then based upon that information it is easy to see how David is so successfully counseling married couples.

I am starting to feel for the man.

He seems to be someone apparently losing his grip on what is real versus what is not.

How about a new rule that David Paul is not mentioned on this board again? Its getting boring. He just trying get some attention like a small child.

Thanks for writing what everyone is thinking.

You've got my vote.

I wasn't really offended by what that guy was saying.I figure he thinks his job is to piss people off so they will call in. I guess it worked. The guy is a damn fool. I was wanting to hear the reasons behind why women filed for divorce the most. I know with me the man betrayed my trust, and put all his buddies, cars, beers, drugs and whatever else before his family. Mr Paul was right about one thing. I was miserable when I was married. Now I'm not married and much happier. Let the guy talk. I really don't know which was worse. Listening to his crap or the women calling in upset at what he said. I got tired of that real quick. I expect the regular guys to be low, thats what i like about them.

in a previous post Leave and let David Paul be

most of yall need to leave and let David Paul be, at least give the man a chance to redeem him self in the radio world as opposed to bashing him the man had a lot of spunk in the radio market back in the late 80's early 90's so please let him be!

Didn't catch the show. As a matter of fact I've never heard David Paul on the air. But maybe...just maybe having him on the air is a good thing. Having a certified "wacko" might be just the thing to shake up the Atlanta airwaves which now consists of Regis, and Kelly type shows,Stern Clones, ESPN lingo slinging wannabees, and Hate radio (Conservstive, and liberal).

Might be a nice alternative....

Just a thought.<P ID="signature">______________

I know you were offended by them, but realize that YOU are not the audience they are trying to attract or focus on. I do agree with you. It's unfortunate they must stoop so low.

You really felt that strongly about it? I guess I don't offend easily. I thought it was funny. I mean, David is a total moron with those comments. Either he is trying to get a rise out of people or he has some crazy beliefs. But it was kind of funny hearing how off he is. And I doubt the Reg Guys believe what he is saying.

Anyway, my wife heard it and thought David was a jerk, but she also thought it was funny.
