The "other radio website board" (not sure if that's still considered a "bad word" here or not) is reporting that Clear Channel has recently registered around 20 domains with the word "Comedy" in them, one of which is Comedy960.com. WERC and KNEW Oakland/San Francisco are mentioned as good possibilities for the domain. Thoughts?

I don't live there, but I am sure that WERC promotes itself mainly as FM, and I am sure AM 960 went off once for a reason. (Why they tried to relay an FM rock station on AM, well, that's beyond me.)

San Fran, because its the bigger regional comedy stop. A former CC-owned Rush Limbaugh affiliate in Boston is rumored/slated to make this very format flip, also.
