Comet gone from 50.3

I noticed a few days ago that Comet is missing from 50.3 in Phoenix and has been replaced Spanish religious programming. To add insult to injury, the audio and video are not in sync. Is Comet returning elsewhere? I remember in an earlier thread that it may be added to KTVK's sub-channels.

KFPB-LD is notorious for its nonexistent quality control (operations are located at Palm Springs sister station KRET-CD). It appears that the content that's supposed to be on 50.2 (ESNE) is on 50.3, with 50.2 being blank. 50.7 is also blank. I've notified Comet's Facebook site with no response as of yet. KFPB is not long for this world because of the spectrum repack.

yeah it's not gone, it's having problems, possibly a transmitter issue. Now I read from Eric Stein's post that with the stations repack it won't last long, anyway?? This is a DISGRACE. Those air waves are supposed to be ours, as in public property. I am incensed that our public airwaves are being sold off to the highest bidder to private interests. I wish the public had the mass mind to gather together and demand our air back. It reminds me of Pepsi Corporation "leasing" the publicly-owned Lake Arrowhead water. Supposed to belong to the citizens of California, but Pepsi routed the water to one pump and sells it back to the world at billions in profits for which they paid $514. USD for the lease, and that was over 15 years ago.

According to a message on their Facebook page, Comet is gone for good from 50.3, and they said a "new affiliate is coming soon." This TV has been sighted on 50.5 after K38IZ-D shortsightedly dropped it from 38.5 in favor of "The Action Channel" (from the people who bring you Retro TV, but add some hunting/fishing/action sports shows with the CanCon procedural dramas).
