You might want to check out the website for Charlotte Magazine. I'm not exactly sure what it is. They keep sending me the magazine, thiinking I might subscribe, but I don't plan on it. A quick google check will tell you what you need to know.

Whenever I'm in Charlotte, I've got to have some Price's Chicken... it's got to be the best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Check it out if you get a chance. If I remember correctly, Price's Chicken Coop is on Camden Road in Charlotte. I know whenever I go, I take South Blvd. to East Blvd. to Camden. Just a suggestion. It's certainly not fancy, and it's take-out. But, I guarantee, the eatin's good!

Enjoy your stay in Charlotte! It's one of my favorite cities.

You Are Correct! Price's is the BEST! Better'n your mama's.

Does anybody know what the name of that Italian place is out by Jefferson Pilot Lincoln Financial Media? It's the place that has like a bazillion college and high school penants on the walls.

I highly recommend it, and plan on going if I get to go to the Radio Show this year.

I'd say rent a car and drive over to Charleston for some real fun!

Come on down – the water’s GREAT... So is the food and friendly people! I often describe ChasTown as “the civilized NOLA”. The news/talker here, WTMA stands for Where Tourists Meet Always”. It’s a great town!

So is Charlotte – IF you can figure out the streets there... The names seem to change unceremoniously [i.e. Tyvola > Fairview > Rama] – and I was amazed how Queens Road actually intersected itself! The phrase “Charlotte’s Web” appropriately describes the street layout. Still, it’s one of my favorite places. Magic 96 was one of my favorite radio stations, but the BBQ dive [below] may have outlasted it :'(

I remember that joint being on a north-south street [Pineville Rd?] north of Tyvola and west of South Blvd – just up from an “adult club”. It backed up to a railroad track – every time a train passed, it would blow its whistle and the building would shake. IIRC, it was owned by a former pro-football player... The food was great, and the “fun” kept flowing – usually “standing room only” by 10PM.
