I got so tired of them so quickly especially with shows like that. Maybe becasue I am not a golfer, but then again too much of one thing is jsut plain TOO MUCH. That is why I don't tune into WBCN Sundays at 9am for the Patriots pre-game show (sarcastic comment but truthful).

It is more like Faxon, Gerry's opinion, Faxon, Gerry's opinion on how his last opinion was brilliant, Faxon, John commenting on Gerry's opinion with a segway into Faxon, Gerry yelling at John and a caller for not agreeing with him, Gerry dumping a caller when the caller proves him wrong and then continues to reaffirm his first opinion, his second opinion and how the caller that disagreed with him was an idiot...oh yeah, the Red Sox, there was a Patriot something somewhere, G.W.Bush is incredible, Dennis mentions Faxon is almost Godly like Bush, Gerry beats up on Dennis for even mentioning someone in the same stratosphere as GWB, Gerry has another one-sided epihony, a hint that the Celtics are still in Boston and that rumor has it Boston has a hockey team. Now onto taking Faxon's live phone call....

There are reasons I ot XM and I am massivly happy with it and D&C are one of the reasons.......................

I'm not a golfer either, and that may be the reason because I love it when they talk nonstop baseball/Sox....but, I like it when they talk about ALL the Red Sox, not one player over and over and over and over again. This morning got to me, because they opened the show talking about the US Open, and how stupid tennis is. I can't stand when people take their opinion and try to make it as common law. And if you disagree? OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!

Edit: Before I get asked "Why do you listen if you don't like them?"....

I like the station, and there's no other local morning sports show on.

What's the most boring - playing golf, watching golf, or listening to people talk about golf?

(Seems like a three-way tie for last.)

One of the things that really bothered me about D&C when I listened to them was on a monday they would start off with golf when there would be a festering Patriots or Red Sox issue that needed to be addressed.
For local sports issues I would rather listen to Zolack&Co on 790 even though the signal is not that good.
