Commemorative Program

For music fans... On WBWC 88.3 FM I'm going to commemorate the deaths of music people who passed away in 2008. The program will air beginning at 6:03pm. I'll talk about the artists careers and play at least one of their songs. For notable artists, I'll play more then one. Delaney Bramlett (of Delany and Bonnie - "Never Ending Song of Love") died just a few days ago. Also leaving us were Isaac Hayes ("Shaft"), Mike Smith, the lead singer of the Dave Clark 5 ("Catch Us If You Can"), Dennis Yost, lead singer of The Classics 4 ("Spooky"), Hurricane Smith ("Oh Babe, What Would You Say?)...he was more important as a sound engineer on early Beatles records, and producer for Pink Floyd, who by the way lost Richard Wright this year. Mitch Mitchell, the British drummer in the Jimi Hendrix Experience passed away as well along with many others.
