Some interesting insight into the shake up with the show:
On his future,
"My plan right now is to start the whole thing online. A professional quality show online. I don't like the term podcast because it conjures up imagery of me in my basement being self-indulgent. I want to do a great radio show again. If radio isn't interested in that anymore- we can do it on a different platform. But it will stream live when it happens so that we can take calls and do all the things great radio shows do."

"The best way to annoy [TRG/Rock 100.5] will be to follow me when I am allowed to compete. Which will happen. It will be a show with the improv & spirit of the old show- before it was hijacked a couple years ago by the man who refers to himself as a meaningless acronym."

"Don't blame Axel. He's a good guy. Blame the Head-******, blame the consultants, blame the dude who waltzed in from market 300 and decided I wasn't good enough to be on the show I created. I still have a lot of friends in that building. Most are blameless. We've all had to keep a paycheck before. "
