Commercial "Spot Brokers"?

It was suggested to me that I contact a commercial "spot broker" to procure advertisers for a new program that I'm looking to distribute nationally. Can anybody tell me where I can find one and how they work?

Most spot brokers will require you have a pre-determined minimum of AQH in any given demo. With that said, here are some of the spot brokers out there:

Dial-Global (www.dial-global.com)
MediaAmerica (www.mediaamerica.com)
United Stations (www.unitedstations.com)
Stratus Media (www.stratusmedia.net)

There may be some other guys out there, but those are the big ones that come to mind without much thought.

Hope that helps.
