Commercials in English on SBS

You know, I have always wondered why SBS stations play some commercials in English, I am not sure if other stations not owned by SBS do this and my question is why is this done?

SBS apparently has a commetment to ABC networks to carry some of these spots. In addtion, some clients do not want to redo their creative and ask for the spots to run in English.
